Cameroon Holidays - Itineraries

Day 1 - Europe - Douala - Arrival Douala International airport. Meet and greet direct transfer to our hotel for briefing, dinner and night. Half board overnight at the Planet Hotel.
Day 2 - Douala - Maroua - After breakfast we fly to Maroua. Extreme north Province of Cameroon. On arrival at Maroua we are transfered to our hotel, for lunch. In the afternoon we visit the town market, Tannery center and blacksmiths. Full board overnight at the Porte Mayo Hotel
Day 3 - Maroua - Waza - A sunrise start and breakfast and off to the Waza national park. Our safari trip will include tracking animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes and antelopes. There are also many different birds to see. Return to our next accommodation for evening meal and overnight at the Waza lodge.
Day 4 - Waza - Oudjilla - Rhumsiki - Departure after breakfast, to the locality of Oudjila in the land of the Podokos. We are initiated into the mystical religious customs of the Podoko people. Our visit is crowned by a traditional dance performed by the 50 wives of the chief.We continue our day to Djinglia going through the curves of Kosa and the local artisan cooperative. Late in the evening we arrive at Rhumsiki just in time to catch the sun set on the beautiful contry side of the land of the Kapsikis. Evening meal, overnight at the Rhumsiki Lodge.
Day 5 - Rhumsiki - Amsa - Rhumsiki - Garoua - Early morning we rise for a picture safari to observe the sun rise in the beautiful country side before driving to Amsa, where we visit a group of traditional blacksmiths. we return at mid day to visit the village, the crab magician that is always ready to predict the future. After our visit we drive to Garoua through Mokolo, Guider and Bidzar. Evening Meal, board, overnight in the Motel Touristique.
Day 6 - Garoua - Douala - Limbe - After breakfast we drive to the airport for departure formalities. Flight to Douala and direct transfer to Limbe on arrival at Douala. Evening meal, overnight at the Fini hotel.
Day 7 - Limbe - Buea - Bandjoun - We start our trip today with visits to the botanical garden and the Limbe wildlife center before driving through the Tole tea estate to the historical town of Buea where we visit the Bismark fountain and Von Putkammers Palace. We continue our journy to the Ekom Nkam waterfall. made famous in the film Greystoke. We then continue to Bandjoun were we spend the night. Evening meal, overnight at the Climatique Bandjoun.
Day 8 - Bandjoun - Baffousam - Foumban - Today we begin our day with a visit in the Bandjoun Kingdom we visit the palace and museum before moving to the Baffoussam Palace. Later we travel to the Foumban Palace were we visit the museum, palace and the arts and crafts center in the village center. We retire in Koutaba for dinner and the night at the Paradise hotel.
Day 9 - Foumban - Bafut - Bamenda - From Koutaba we drive through the Western Highlands to Bafut. Here we visit the Bafut Palace, the Achum and the museum.We conclude our visit with a traditional dance performed by the children of the palace. In the afternoon we visit the Mankon Palace and museum before returning to our hotel for dinner and over night stay at the Ayaba hotel.
Day 10 - Bamenda - Kribi - We drive from Bamenda to the costal town of Kribi through the water falls of Metcheand, tropical plantations of Penja and Njombe. Residence Jully is our restfull stop in Kribi.
Day 11 to 13 - Kribi - Relaxation at the beach site with excursions to the lope falls and the Baaka villages. Half board overnight residence Jully.
Day 14 - Kribi - Douala - Europe - Morning relaxation at the beach site. Afternoon transfer to Douala for return flight to Europe. End of trip.
